We prepare students for a wide range of competitions including AMC/AIME, Math Olympiad, Science Olympiad, National Science Bowl, USA Biology/Chemistry/Physics Olympiads, and other regional and national competitions.

Do you offer summer programs or camps?

Can I request a different tutor if the match isn't working well?

Enrollment & Scheduling

How do I enroll my child in your programs?

Enrollment is easy! Start by scheduling an initial consultation through our website or by calling our center. During this consultation, we'll discuss your child's needs and goals, recommend appropriate programs, and explain the enrollment process. Once you decide to proceed, we'll match your child with the right tutor and set up a regular schedule.

Is there a minimum commitment period for tutoring?

While we don't require a long-term contract, we typically recommend a minimum of 8-12 sessions to see meaningful progress. Academic improvement takes time, and consistent tutoring yields the best results. However, we offer flexible arrangements to accommodate different needs.

How far in advance should I schedule tutoring sessions?

For regular ongoing tutoring, we recommend scheduling at least 2-3 weeks in advance to secure your preferred time slots with your chosen tutor. For test prep programs, we suggest starting 3-6 months before the test date. During peak seasons (before finals or standardized tests), our schedule fills quickly, so earlier is better.

What is your cancellation policy?

We require 24 hours' notice for cancellations to avoid being charged for the session. We understand that emergencies happen, so we offer some flexibility for genuine emergencies or illness. Excessive cancellations may result in the loss of a regular time slot.

Can my child attend sessions at different times each week?

We strongly recommend consistent weekly schedules for optimal learning outcomes. However, we understand that some students have varying commitments (like sports seasons). In these cases, we can work with you to create a flexible schedule that accommodates changing needs while maintaining tutoring consistency.

Is there a waitlist for popular tutors or time slots?

Yes, some of our most requested tutors and after-school time slots do fill up quickly. We maintain a waitlist and will contact you as soon as an opening becomes available. While waiting, we can often offer sessions with another qualified tutor or at alternative times.

Payments & Policies

What are your tutoring rates?

Our tutoring rates vary based on the program, the tutor's qualifications, and the subject's complexity. Individual tutoring typically ranges from $60-$120 per hour, while small group sessions range from $35-$65 per hour per student. We offer package discounts for committing to multiple sessions upfront.

Do you offer any scholarships or financial assistance?

Yes, we have a limited scholarship program for qualifying families with demonstrated financial need. We also offer payment plans to make our services more accessible. Please inquire about these options during your initial consultation if cost is a concern.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept credit/debit cards, ACH bank transfers, and checks. Most clients set up automatic payments for convenience. We typically bill at the beginning of each month for regular tutoring packages or at the time of registration for courses and workshops.

Is there a registration or materials fee?

There is a one-time registration fee of $50 per student, which covers initial assessments and program setup. Some specialized programs may have additional materials fees, which will be clearly communicated before enrollment. These fees help cover the cost of proprietary curriculum materials, practice tests, and other resources.

What is your refund policy?

For ongoing tutoring, unused prepaid sessions are refundable with two weeks' notice. For courses and workshops, refunds are available up to 7 days before the start date, minus a 15% administrative fee. Once a course has begun, prorated refunds may be available in certain circumstances.

Online Learning

Do you offer online tutoring options?

Yes, we offer comprehensive online tutoring using a secure virtual classroom platform. Our online sessions include video conferencing, interactive whiteboard, screen sharing, and document collaboration tools to create an engaging learning environment.

What technology is required for online sessions?

Students need a computer or tablet with a camera and microphone, a stable internet connection, and a quiet workspace. We recommend using headphones for better audio quality. Our system works on most modern devices and browsers, and we provide technical support to help you get set up.

Are online sessions as effective as in-person tutoring?

Our online tutoring has proven to be equally effective as in-person sessions for most students. Our virtual classroom platform allows for the same level of interaction, and many students actually prefer the convenience and comfort of learning from home. Our tutors are specially trained in online teaching techniques to maximize engagement.

Can my child access recordings or materials after the online session?

Yes, with permission, sessions can be recorded for review later. Additionally, all notes, problems, and drawings created on the virtual whiteboard can be saved and shared with the student. Our online platform also includes a resource library where tutors can upload supplementary materials for students to access anytime.

What are your hours of operation?

Our administrative office is open Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM, and Saturday from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Tutoring sessions are available during extended hours, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate students' busy schedules.

Do you work with schools or educational organizations?
